what happens if customs seizes packages in Australia?

so, i was wanting to buy some stuff from China, and i was wondering what would happen is customs seized the packages. I want to buy a manual release folding knife, which is not illegal, although i am underage, and a bb gun... which is maybe, certainly illegal some people have got them through, but what happens if the catch it? is it a fine? or parents like told stuff and i get into heaps of trouble?

You can't legally import that sort of stuff, although it is possible to get it through.

If you buy a knife, then chances are your parents are paying for it, and since they're overage, you're probably fine. If you were to just log in and buy a bb gun, then the police could definitely be onto you over that.

If you're underage, then yes, your parents will be told, and you could face criminal charges for importing weapons. Now that is some pretty serious stuff to be dealing with, don't you think? Is it really worth it?
