Diabetes Treatments

The latest statistics from the American Diabetes Association shows that nearly 21 million people in the United States have diabetes; type 2 diabetes comprises nearly 90 to 95% of all cases.

Our body uses sugar, in the form of glucose, as its main source for fuel. Insulin allows the sugar in our blood to enter our cells. If you are suffering from type 2 diabetes, either your body isn't producing enough insulin or your cells are resistant to the effects of insulin.
